Lakeside-Milam

Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers (Lakeside-Milam) of Kirkland, Washington, was founded in 1983 and is widely acclaimed.  They have won recognition in The 100 Best Treatment Centers, and on The Oprah Winfrey Show, as one of the ten best treatment centers in the country. No other treatment organization in the Pacific Northwest has helped more people than Lakeside-Milam. Prior to becoming the owner of Lakeside Recovery Center of Spokane in 1994, Don Davis was the Regional Manager of 8 treatment facilities including a residential center for Lakeside-Milam. Don understands the effectiveness of the Lakeside-Milam philosophy and our strong relationship with them remains.

As part of our ongoing unique partnership with Lakeside-Milam, the cost of care includes:

• Inpatient care for adults or adolescents

• Assessment at our facility

• Roundtrip airfare

• Aftercare -- combined treatment of 22 individual counseling sessions and specialized process groups at our Spokane center.  (This specialized treatment is available to other patients returning from inpatient care).

*If admission is deemed necessary prior to a quoted admission date, we will call on a daily basis to see if a bed opens up due to cancellation.  This way you can be sure that we are doing everything possible to facilitate you or your loved ones entering treatment and working towards abstinence and a healthier way of life.   

Knowing that residential treatment is very intense and much is taught didactically, we have designed a process group exclusively for those returning from a residential program. Most of the patients attending our process group are familiar with one another other from interactions at Lakeside-Milam.  Their rapport along with the knowledge of the group facilitator work synergistically to bolster recovery education and aid assimilation into their home environment.
